She will be responsible for supporting Nodifi’s current partners across the two states, as well as growing its distribution network.
Ms Schmorl has come to the fintech after four years as a BDM with digital lender Brighte.
Previously, she had also been a BDM with automotive management system provider Pentana Solutions, data specialist Harrier and asset finance specialist Technology Leasing, as well as a customer development manager with humm group.
“I’m excited to join such a high performing team at a time when fintech solutions are being hugely sought by a growing number of businesses within the dealership industry,” Ms Schmorl said.
“I think consumer expectations are shifting to favour smooth online options and mortgage brokers and asset dealers are looking to meet such demands. Nodifi technology satisfies these needs and in my opinion, this new role allows me to connect Queensland and Northern Territory businesses with the right tools.”
Nodifi national sales manager Alex Bodriagin commented Ms Schmorl’s experience will be key to building the company’s network.
“Someone of Victoria’s distinction places Nodifi in a strong position to continue to execute on our distribution strategy and navigate future growth,” Mr Bodriagin said.
“Our expansion and growth of key resources will continue into the foreseeable future – it’s an exciting time for the business.”
Nodifi recently also recruited a new chief revenue officer, Alex Brgudac, who was formerly head of partnerships at Prospa.
It also hired a new BDM for Western Australia in January.
