Settle Easy opens to WA/SA brokers

by Adrian Suljanovic9 minute read

The e-conveyancer has opened its offerings to brokers in Western and South Australia.

E-conveyancer Settle Easy has announced that it is now ready to begin offering its conveyancing services to customers, agents, and brokers in Western Australia and South Australia.

As a law firm specialising in residential conveyancing, Settle Easy reportedly has over 94 per cent of customers and 96 per cent of referring agents and brokers indicating they would recommend the business.

Settle Easy chairperson and co-founder Sam Almaliki said: “We are excited to expand into Western Australia and South Australia, having established ourselves as the partner of choice on the East Coast for agents and brokers who share our commitment to delivering consumers the best conveyancing experience.

“Our expert local lawyers and conveyancers are the best in the country and we are proud to bring our offering to buyers and sellers in these states.”

According to the company, Settle Easy is on track to be in every Australian state and territory and New Zealand over the next 12 months, while it seeks to consolidate its position as the “partner of choice for agents and brokers committed to making selling and buying property easy”.

Speaking to The Adviser, Almaliki stated that Settle Easy has had a “strong track record of delivering exceptional services”.

“The key to that, from a broker perspective, is that often a lot of the friction and a lot of time is spent on trying to make sure that conveyancers are doing what they’re supposed to while being professional and proactive in their communication with the client,” Almaliki added.

“One of the great things about Settle Easy going into WA and SA is that brokers who refer to us can be assured that we deliver on our promise of making the whole conveyancing settlement process easy for them and their customers so they can be focused on being on the road, getting leads, looking after their customers, and taking comfort that the conveyancing process is well looked after.”

In 2022, Settle Easy announced that it updated its online platform to provide automatic updates to mortgage brokers and agents during the conveyancing process.

The platform uses real-time automated notifications that update brokers and agents during different stages of a property transaction.

The real-time updates include notifications when a conveyancer has been assigned to look after the client, when a contract becomes unconditional and when a settlement has been scheduled and completed.

The automated messages are then sent out via SMS and email to help give brokers and agents a searchable reference point in case information needs to be reviewed.

Speaking at the time, Almaliki said the “best property technology adapts to the needs of those who use it”.

“We’re excited about the latest release of our online conveyancing platform which includes several new features including real-time notifications for agents and brokers at significant milestones in their client’s property transactions,” he added.
