Heather Gallagher joins Salestrekker

by Annie Kane12 minute read

The fintech has appointed outsource Financial’s head of training and education as its first head of customer success and has launched a new CRM offering for non-aligned brokers.

CRM developer Salestrekker has appointed Heather Gallagher into the newly created role of head of customer success, effective 4 November.

Gallagher has worked in the broking industry for more than 10 years and is currently the head of training and education at aggregation group outsource Financial, where she has also acted as a broker mentor.

She also has experience in developing broker businesses, having been a business development manager (BDM) at BOQ and Westpac and a broker services manager at former aggregation business eChoice.

In her new position – created to support the growth of the company and the continued roll-out of Salestrekker 2.0 – Gallagher will lead the implementation of customer success strategies by assisting brokers, aggregators, and lenders with leveraging the platform and identifying opportunities for them to improve productivity using the customer relationship management (CRM) platform.

The platform aims to do this by automating the client relationship for mortgages, assets, and personal finance and connects brokers with over 120 lenders through Salestrekker’s aggregator network (including Astute, SFG, outsource Financial, YBR Group, Purple Circle, Resolve, and My Local Broker).

Speaking of the appointment, Dalibor Ivkovic, the CEO of Salestrekker, said: “Heather has unique insights into the current pain points brokers face, even when they don’t realise it themselves.

“As someone with extensive experience in the industry, deep insights into the benefits of Salestrekker 2.0 and standout capabilities as an educator and trainer, this is a coup for Salestrekker.”

Gallagher said: “I have been a raving fan of Salestrekker as an essential tool for a broker’s business since I first saw it nearly six years ago. Being one of the first users of 2.0 has just increased that enthusiasm.

“When the opportunity to join Salestrekker and combine my passion for helping brokers build better businesses with the best CRM in the market came along, it was an enthusiastic yes!

“I am looking forward to working with brokers, aggregators and businesses across the industry to increase productivity and engagement and ultimately provide improved outcomes for the consumer at the end of each of these transactions.”

Salestrekker launches new offering for independent brokers

While the combined lending, origination, and CRM platform Salestrekker 2.0 is available through its aggregator partners, the company has now launched a suite of tools for brokers who aren’t using Salestrekker as their primary CRM, but wish to access the most popular Salestrekker 2.0 features.

The API-enabled package – Basetrekker – has been launched to enable brokers and their support staff to:

  • Collect leads on their websites
  • Collect data and documents
  • Connect with clients and referral partners
  • Navigate lender servicing and policy
  • Automate their workflows for maximum productivity gains

The Salestrekker CEO said: “Moving forward for new users, Salestrekker 2.0 will be our aggregator-exclusive solution. Basetrekker has been designed specifically for independent users.

“Basetrekker is our solution designed to improve broker productivity by supplementing their aggregator-mandated CRM platforms.

“Choice and innovation is necessary to ensure cost-effective innovation sets new standards for the industry. Basetrekker lets us do this.

“It’s also ideal for independent brokers that want to use – or who may be currently using – Salestrekker.”
