Aggregator appoints new national sales manager

The transformation of eChoice’s senior ranks continues, with the boutique aggregator announcing the appointment of Blake Buchanan as its new national sales manager.

Mr Buchanan was previously the New South Wales state manager for Finsure and LoanKit, as well as the state business manager for 1300HomeLoan. He has also held roles at CBA and Clic Money.

Paul Liccione, eChoice’s general manager of sales and distribution, said the recruitment of Mr Buchanan is a clear indication that the aggregator is pursuing its strategy of high support and growth “with tenacity and conviction”.

“I see our people as first and foremost the critical ingredient to our success,” he said.

“We’ve considered carefully who the ideal people are to support our brokers in the utilisation of these tools.

“I am thrilled that someone of Blake’s calibre has recognised the opportunity to contribute and joined the team.”

Mr Buchanan’s appointment follows eChoice’s recruitment of Mr Liccione and Kon Shizas from Resi (now branded as Yellow Brick Road) earlier this year.

More recently, eChoice announced the appointment of Nick Dalamagas as its new sales development manager in June.
