Mr Monaco will report to Warren Shaw, who was recently announced as Westpac’s new national head of broker distribution.
Prior to joining Westpac, Mr Monaco was head of Macquarie Private Wealth's WA division. He also held executive and regional management roles with CBA and Westpac in the early part of his career.
Mr Shaw said Mr Monaco will be a valuable asset to help build Westpac’s presence across WA.
“Tony has spent his entire career in financial services and has a strong track record in delivering outstanding results in both first and third-party businesses,” he said.
“We see a huge opportunity in the WA market and look forward to building on our presence and relationships in the state.”
